Final Fantasy XV: Mistakes being made, changes will follow
As of now, many players enjoy the great world of Final Fantasy XV. With over 6 million sold copies, it can’t be denied that it is very popular. But where there is light, there is always a shadow. The same goes for Final Fantasy XV. Even though it is hyped, players don’t like one particular part of the game, the so-called Chapter 13.
If you are still on your way to this particular chapter, be cautious as it is hard to talk about this topic without revealing one or two spoilers.
While the whole game is flashy with lots of abilities and running around with your party, Chapter 13 is the exact opposite of this. Noctis is separated from his party, stripped off of most of his abilities and has to sneak through a dark maze to not get captured by the enemy. As Hajime Tabata, game director of Final Fantasy XV, stated, he wanted to make a contrast to the usual gameplay. But he also admitted that the idea wasn’t perfectly executed. He confirmed that a plan is set in motion to rework this particular section of the game.
“The amount of stress inflicted on the player while running through this chapter was greater than we had anticipated,” Tabata mentioned while speaking to US Gamer. “We believe resolving this issue will naturally lead to a better gameplay experience.”
