Life Forge is a 2D MMORPG in the old SNES style. Despite his look, the game isn’t made in the well-known RPG Maker but with the SkywardRiver’s custom Engine. The game features a broad amount of possibilities for the players.
At the start of the game, the player gets washed up on the shore of the world of Life Forge. Found by an old man and rested up in his house, the journey of the character can begin. Shortly after, he realises that he has absolute no memories of the time before he was found.
In the game, the player has the choice to be a powerful hero or even a villain, take on quests, explore dungeons or fight against others in fierce arena battles. But a player doesn’t have to go on adventures. He can also take a rather quiet route with the crafting department. There are lots of recipes he can utilise and sell to other players after the item is crafted.
The game features different systems. There is, for example, the mount system. This provides the player with a possibility to move faster from one location to another. There is also a wide range of mounts with partly different travelling speeds. Then, there is the Death and Revive system where players can be revived by other players nearby or at the location where they put their revival point. Furthermore, there is the talent system which gives the player the choice between three different talent trees to make their character unique.
Of course, the game offers much more than that. It has all the basic needs of an Online RPG like guilds, dungeons, projectile weapons, different spells (also Blind and Invisibility), and much more.
