Smite is a third-person MOBA, which is developed by Hi-Rez Studios. As the camera is in third-person, the field of vision is limited and gives room for more tactics. Players have to be more careful to not get ambushed. Another thing that sets Smite apart from other MOBAs is that the player has to aim his abilities as there is no targeting. A good timing and positioning are essential here.
Amite comes with a variety of different game modes. The primary game mode is conquest which is a 5vs5 map, where the goal is to destroy the towers in the lanes. After this, the players have to destroy the phoenix to finally confront the enemy team’s Minotaur. During the whole game, it is essential to kill enemy gods to stop them from destroying the towers as well as killing minions to get experience points and gold, which is necessary to buy items.
Other game modes are the 5vs5 Arena, Joust, which is a 3vs3 single lane game mode, the siege map, which is 4vs4, as well some special game modes, which vary greatly and change every day.
In Smite, players can choose a god from eight different pantheons. Those pantheons are equally to the mythologies of our world, which are Greece, Rome, Chinese, Egyptian, Hindu, Japanese, Mayan and Norse.
