The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – All new DLC masks and equipments

The first DLC is available and with it comes many new things to collect. This includes masks and armours that make your life easier. Here, we have some tips so that you don’t have to search for forever. Otherwise, after the start of the DLC, you will get a quest that leads you on a treasure hunt to acquire all those items.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Tingle's Outfit

With the DLC you can acquire the outfit of Tingle, a 35 years old guy that is obsessed with “forest fairies”. He made his first appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. The outfit might seem a bit disturbing for people, but at least it grants some nice movement speed at night. But be aware, NPCs in Breath of the Wild don’t like it. They will be on their guard and look rather disgusted at you.

Tingle’s Hood

This piece is situated in the south-west Hyrule Field and the north of the Komolo sea within the Exchange Ruins. Search in a pile of rubble to find a well-buried chest.

Tingle’s Shirt

The shirt is in a chest deep down in the ground. It is situated near the Castle Town Prison, in the west of Hyrule Castle.

Tingle’s Tights

The tights are in the Mad Village Ruins in the south-east Hyrule Fields. You can find the chest beneath a broken guardian.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Phantom Armour

This nice set of armour will raise your attack power. It was inspired by Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.

Phantom Helmet

The helmet is inside the Coliseum Ruins. Enter through the front gate and turn right to follow along the wall to find the chest. But be aware of the lynel.

Phantom Armour

The armour is in the Sacred Ground Ruins in the middle of the Hyrule Field. Pay attention to the guardians and look for a fallen pillar. Near this pillar, you can pull out a chest with the armour.

Phantom Greaves

The greaves are in the Hyrule Garrison Ruins in the lower south-west of Hyrule Field. Near the outskirt, you can find a collapsed house. Near it, there is a broken Guardian who hides the chest under himself.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Korok Mask

Korok Mask

This mask will help you find all the Koroks and their stuff in the game.  It will shake if anything of that is nearby.

It is a bit tricky to find the chest with this mask. Go to the Lost Woods and follow the torches into the centre of it. There you have to find a pair of torches. Turn to the left side and walk through the grove of trees. If the fog closes in, turn around and adjust your path a little. Do this until you find a hollowed out tree that contains a chest. You found your new mask.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Majora's Mask

Majora’s Mask

This sweet little mask can be found in the Kolomo Garrison Ruins south of the Lake Kolomo. The chest can be found in of the corners there. The mask itself helps you to stay longer undetected from enemies. Maybe the best choice to get first before looking for other items near Guardians if you don’t want to fight. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Midna's Helmet

Midna’s Helmet

Midna’s Helmet can be found in the Sage Temple Ruins in the west of Hyrule Fields. It is a bit underwater in the north-west part of the ruins. Be prepared to meet some lizalfos.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Travel Medallion

Travel Medallion

The medallion is inside the Lomei Labyrinth Island in the north of the map in the Akkala sea. Make your way to the shrine and jump into a hole that leads to a room packed with guardians. Have fun getting rid of them. Afterwards, go to the north end of the room and into the room with the medallion. The medallion is a portable teleportation device. You can place it a location where you want to return later. It is quite nice if you have a place where no shrine or anything like that is nearby.
