IGN and Ubisoft reveal more information about the missions in Assassin’s Creed Origins
Lately, we didn’t hear much about Assassin’s Creed Origins but this seems to change now.
In a new gameplay video, game director Ash Ismail and IGN show one of the many missions that await you in the game. As Assassin’s Creed Origins is the game of the month at IGN, they put together a plan to release more information during the month.
The side quest in the video is called ‘What’s Yours is Mine’. Due to the fact that this mission is rather long, they cut the video and focused on the key points only. Ismail said about this that missions often are rather long. You have to actively search, cross many areas and put together the clues you can find.
While you are on a mission, you aren’t restricted to this one alone. If you came across something from a different mission, you can follow it at any time. Every action outside a mission has no influence on the status of a mission. It is even possible to turn the tables in a situation where the mission would normally fail. There is always room for improvisations.
In the video, Bayek has to track down a thief. On his way, he makes a lot more discoveries which take a surprising change. One of those discoveries is the inside of the Giza Pyramids which is pretty impressive.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will be available October 27 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Until then, there will be some more videos regarding other features. Here is the full list from IGN:
